APSI is a provider of premier Vocational Training Programs.  Through our academic partnerships nationwide, we are able enhance our training programs by adding globally recognized credentials to our custom course curriculum.  Students who attend an APSI accredited program can expect world class instruction and the proper credentials that is transferable throughout the United States.

Fiber Optic Association (FOA)

APSI is a Licensed Fiber Optic Association School approved to offer credentials to students who enroll in our Broadband Programs.  The Fiber Optic Association (FOA) is a international non-profit educational organization that is dedicated to promoting professionalism in the Fiber Optic Field.  Founded in 1995, the FOA has grown to become experts in standards, certifications, textbooks, publishing and participating in industry standards activities.  The FOA has over 27,000 Certified Fiber Optic Technicians that has completed the requirements for this globally recognized credential.

Electronics Technicians Association (ETA)

APSI is a approved Instructor and Administrator for Electronics Technicians Association (ETA) certification programs.  The ETA is a not-for-profit, worldwide professional association founded by electronics technicians and servicing dealers since 1978.  The sole purpose of the ETA association is to provide recognized professional credentials as a testament to an individual’s skills and knowledge in a particular area of study.

**All of APSI’s Instructors are “Certified” with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience in the field, executive leadership or on the classroom podium.  Our staff of certified instructors can offer and proctor certification programs in our classrooms around the United States.

Cisco Networking Academy

APSI, a Fiber Optic Association (FOA) training school has developed a collaboration with the Cisco Networking Academy’s across the U.S. to create a special program to assist transitioning workers with breaking in to the Broadband Technology Industry.  For more information on our Broadband Technology Programs, contact APSI and ask for a Training Representative.

Partners

To better service displaced, unemployed, military veterans and our corporate partners better, APSI has developed great academic partnership with universities and technical colleges around the United States.  Currently APSI has partnered with Woodson University, South Piedmont Community College, Horry-Georgetown Technical Collge, Chattanooga State College, Calhoun Community College and Rowan Cabarrus Community College to offer vocational training programs.

The Urban League of Central Carolinas was the first Non-Profit organization APSI collaborated with to provide vocational training services to unemployed, under served and at-risk youth.  APSI offered a Broadband Fiber Optic Course through the Mike Minter Workforce Development Program.  This training program was part of the 2009 Summer Youth Employment Program funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
